Couldn't load pickup availability
A special variety of Merikanite Obsidian nodules, Arizona/ Nevada/ New Mexico. Formed when lava cools very fast, a nature made glass. If you hold these up to the light, some tears with have a smokey effect on the inside.
The legend of the Apache tribe in the 1870's, superior Arizona. Facing defeat against the US calvary, instead of being killed or captured by US militants, the Apache decided to ride their horses off the side of the mountain. About 75 Apache soldiers lost their lives as a result based on my own research. The families of these Apache soldiers carried so much energy in their tears it is said that their tears turned to stone as they hit the ground.
Despite legend, this is not how these were formed. I wanted to share the story of the name of this stone regardless. I think bringing attention to history is important.
Said to be a stone of forgiveness and luck.
This is based on legend and story about the stone. Not intended to offend anyone.
